About the AssignmentWe are looking for a senior program manager and change leader for a larger organizational change program within the public sector. The assignment is part of a broad change journey focusing on future-proofing, enhanced collaboration, and clearer governance. The change involves streamlining a technical operations function and reorganizing service functions to another part of the organization.
The change affects approximately 300 employees and encompasses governance, organization, working methods, and support processes. You will play a central role in driving the program forward, creating structure and pace in the implementation, and ensuring that the affected parts of the organization are prepared for handovers and operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure that the timeline and implementation are maintained and coordinate resources related to the program.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize activities required to implement the organizational change.
- Lead and coordinate work in areas such as:
- Organizational structure and division of responsibilities between different parts of the organization.
- HR and staffing issues.
- Finance and governance.
- Transfer of information assets, cases, contracts, and permits.
- Adjustments of IT systems.
- Location and workplace-related issues.
- Be responsible for managing critical moments such as risk assessments and aspects of change management.
- Identify and plan communication needs internally and externally.
- Contribute to the early design and appointment of management organization and critical key competencies to enable collaboration and gradual handover.
- Senior experience in change work within the public sector.
- Broad experience in governance and management work.
- Experience in organizational development.
- Experience in process management as well as measuring/following up results and quality.
- Experience in complex organizational changes in large or medium-sized municipalities.
- Experience in issues related to management and governance systems as well as the role of politics in these.
- Experience in establishing or changing management organizations and key competencies in the early phases of change programs.
- Experience in collaboration processes with trade unions in larger organizational changes.
